What is it you are doing?
Why are people crying out?
Why are you so severe?
Kindness and compassion is what it’s about

What is it you are doing?
People are being pushed around
By you and yours from law?
Your meanness is not even sound

What is it you are doing?
You make false accusations against all
Even real ones should be tempered
People the world over you make fall

What is it you are doing?
Why are so many newly harmed?
You are wild and spiteful
The leaders of many are very alarmed

What is it you are doing?
You have no intent of loving each
You proclaim that they all must
You show not compassion in your reach

What is it you are doing?
You are raking in the dough
Not for the benefit of everyone
Just so your big ego will grow?

What is it you are doing?
Going away from what is good
You sound full of yourself
You’d make everything wrong if you could

What is it you are doing?
You don’t see all as right
There must be some negotiating
You don’t smite with your might

What is it you are doing?
You are falling further from grace
Our planet is being torn apart
You are so afraid to lose face

What is it you are doing?
It is time to do what is good
Things can be made much better
Making adjustments you should

What is it you are doing?
Yes, things need to be in balance
A harsh reaction does more harm than good
People need a second chance?

What is it you are doing?
You think the rich are in need?
Those that need need good help
You need to set aside that big greed

What is it you are doing?
Find a way to find true peace
We all must work together
All these big and little wars must cease

What is it you are doing?
Finding a path to care for all
You don’t seem to know it
It’s time to walk instead of crawl

We are expected to do our best
Each of us has gifts to share
Find a way to love one another
Just find a way to really care
