I am alone in thought
Though nothing is naught
I am just streaming the trees
Mistaking humming birds for bees

The world is not without war
Stop war, no war I don’t abhor
But the one who has the key
He’s the fault that would be

Can he not see the flowers
They have much of the powers
Without their free beauty we’d be
Without the oxygen that we breath

Breath in, let it all out
No need to shout
We love such simple need
For that we are easily freed

Let your family do their thing
They have so many gifts to bring
They are too marvelous you know
You just need to let them go

Do we need order in our day
That’s for sure in some kind way
Set up a net to help those that fall
No need to stand nose to the wall

I feel love for those I don’t know
I feel love for those I even know
I’m sure most must love me
Let’s have peace so we can see

The Earth is an amazing home
It is a wondrous place to roam
We are lucky to have such diversity
Just let it be much more free

All we do that’s good is of love
It all comes from way up above
We have so much good we can do
Free up all like me and you

Let us learn a better way
It won’t happen just in a day
We will work, love and play
Just let us have much more say

I hope you love me for sure
I know the love of all is a cure
You put together the good we do
It will help all the ones loved by you

Life is full of challenges of mind
It is not always so easy and kind

I enjoy every moment of every day
By living, learning, creating and play
I notice the beauty in all creation
I really hope for a loving nation

If they want something I will try
To find a way to see good comes
So all of their wishes might fly

What’s you doing out there
There is no need to be cruel
There is no need to harm
There is a better way

What’s that you are doing
Why are people dying
Why are people going broke
Is this what you do – crucify

I think one needs to open

Even though we are miles away
It may seem like we can’t really go
Together as what will people say

I might not like your shallow greed
I really prefer someone creating stuff
They work hard like it’s a need
Doing nothing would be too rough

Keep on going with grace
Being too angry doesn’t pay
Try to find a lovely pace

It’s okay to be concerned
We need to let others know
Maybe they haven’t learned
Some caring may help them grow

So many, many really care
They find and report, they dare
The wicked don’t like the facts
They think they don’t make tracks

It’s what my father sang to me

I was out just doing a chore

It was a vision
As I was awake and mowing
Light shined through a prism
As he sang I kept on going

Do I know what he told me
Do I know how to really be
I think he was encouraging me
Don’t let others tell you how to be

Too many people have real issues
That they try and project on you
They see suspiciously when in
Reality you are rightfully doin’

One minute they talk to you nicely
The next they think they found a bug
They pretend to be very kindly
Then they try to wrap you in a rug

I try to see the good in you
I want you to know the good in me
I hope you are one of the few
That knows to value what I be

It doesn’t happen very often
People cannot believe what they see
They think the fruit is rotten
When it is really ripe and healthy

Not the enjoyment of seeing others burn

They will be okay before you and me
We will sing and pray for better days
For their many loved ones to see
They should enjoy the warming rays

So, think about your position
Why doubt what is good for all
You think you are Christian
Maybe until you next fall

Accept the true teachings
Accept the love that comes, too
See the flight on good wings
Truly repent and know love that’s true

Who really cares enough, I ask
We actually know how to care
Why do the greedy wear a mask
They have no intention of being fair

The powers that be will divide
There is no reason to stay clear
They use lies to make morals collide
Why give in to what is false to fear

We must care for all in all things
That is the law and the prophets
This is what the angels sing
And it is what all should get

Who knows that they have power
They can make something better
There is no reason to sit and cower
The law must be fairer that the letter

What kind of love do I give
What kind of love do you want
There are all kinds that are
Appropriate for how we live

Love is something beautiful
How is it that you perceive mine
Maybe it is not nearly enough
Maybe it is too wonderful

The love we have is not weak
Maybe we don’t give enough
Maybe we don’t appreciate it
Maybe we need to go and seek it

There are many situations for love
Caring for a child in a family
Caring for someone more elderly
We have even much from way above

There is the love of a special friend
There is the love of a close relative
Maybe you have a significant other
There is even natural love in the wind

Love is really quite beautiful
If you see something sparkly
Or you see something shiny
You might want to be very careful

To cherish the love that is known
To know that it is very valuable
To know that it can be bright or lessen
Love is not something you can own

Love is a necessary sustenance
For our health and strength
It is as important as food and water
For us to be of great presence

So know that I love you always
It doesn’t matter who you are
You are precious to my life
I try to share it like the sun’s rays

Feel the love that is out there
Whether the source is near or far
Much love is being shared always
I must share my love even here
